Capturing memories
Do you want a way to turn memories into something precious? A special moment such as a proposal, wedding or a special trip. Or create a memento of a significant place. I can help. The story below shows how I made a piece of jewellery for my daughter to remind her of a place significant to her.
It all starts with the garden of Emmanuel College Cambridge, where my daughter is studying. A haven of calm for her, and a place with happy memories.
I took a small twig from those scattered on the grass below.
From this I made a silicone mould
Which I used to make a silver clay twig, which when fired turned into a fine silver piece
The addition of an amber hanging stone to represent the tree resin that amber is a fossilised form of, and finishing, I had a piece of jewellery which was not only beautiful but meaningful. Capturing a memory which will last for years to come
If you are interested in capturing a memory in a similar way, get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
My inspiration and process
I love organic forms whether found in nature or in the properties of the materials I use. I take joy in seeing the impact of molten silver on water, wonder at the variety of shapes to be found in nature as well as the mixing of materials and textures.
I use a variety of techniques to bring inspiration to life; water casting, spaghetti casting, Keum Boo gold embellishment, casting natural materials from silver clay, to name but a few. All with the aim of creating one of a kind pieces of jewellery that reflects how unique you are.
All my work is hallmarked according to Assay Office guidelines to provide you with peace of mind about the quality of materials used.
About me
I create unique jewellery pieces that beautifully reflect your personality and are unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else. Much like the thrill of uncovering a rare treasure at a hidden flea market, a passion of mine, each piece carries its own distinctive story and individual style.
Drawing deep inspiration from nature—the gentle flow of water, the delicate shape of leaves, or the smooth, calming touch of a pebble—I carefully design jewellery that captures the joy of discovering something genuinely special, timeless, and naturally elegant.
